The free course
This policy applies to Nitya Studios' public free course pages and lessons. The free course does not require a student account or payment on this site. Studio projects and the private clothing course use separate policies.
What a visit records
When you request a course page, our security system may record your full IP address, a protected one-way version of it, approximate country, browser user agent, requested path, method, visit time, and request count. Hosting systems may also keep operational logs. Your browser may store a local theme preference.
Why we use this data
We use visit data to deliver pages, diagnose errors, measure request volume, enforce rate limits, investigate misuse, and maintain a block list. These security records are not shown to other students and are not sold for money.
Rate limits and IP blocks
The course may temporarily reject excessive requests, including more than 120 requests in 60 seconds. Repeated or serious abuse may lead to an IP block. A block can have an expiration or remain in place until reviewed and removed. People sharing a connection may be affected by the same block and can request a review.
How long records remain
Routine visitor and security event records are subject to a 30-day cleanup policy. Cleanup runs during course traffic, so old records may remain longer between cleanup runs. Short rate-limit records are also cleaned up. An active block remains until its expiration or removal; records needed for an investigation or legal duty may be retained longer.
Outside links and providers
Our hosting provider processes requests to serve the course. Some lessons may link to external tools, resources, or video services. Those providers can collect information under their own policies when you visit or use them. Their practices are separate from this course policy.
Security and your choices
We limit access to course security data and use it only for operation and abuse prevention. No online system is risk-free. You can avoid optional external links and can change or clear your browser's local theme preference.
Access, deletion, and review
Email orders@nitya.xyz to ask about personal data we hold, request correction or deletion where applicable, or appeal an IP block. Include the affected IP and approximate time if comfortable doing so, but do not send passwords. We may need to verify the request and retain some data for security or legal reasons.
Policy changes
We may update this policy when the course or its security measures change. The date above identifies the version currently published.
